Abdulla Rezaev brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Auckland MMA as a dedicated Sambo coach. Starting his coaching career in 2018, Abdulla has quickly established himself as a highly respected figure in the martial arts community.

Abdulla's impressive competitive background includes being a Moscow Sambo medalist and winning gold at the Moscow Grappling Championship in 2017. His achievements extend to the international stage, where he secured gold medals in both freestyle and Greco-Roman categories at the 2023 National New Zealand Wrestling Championship.

Abdulla has also fought MMA, winning his debut fight on Shuriken Fight Series defeating Karlo Witana via decision in 2023.

Abdulla holds a bachelor's degree in sport and a diploma in sport and exercise, underpinning his practical experience with solid academic knowledge. His coaching philosophy emphasizes technical excellence, physical conditioning, and mental toughness, making him an invaluable asset to athletes of all levels.
