Women’s MMA

The Women’s MMA program is designed for two types of women: those who want fitness and technique, and those who want to fight. We accommodate both levels of commitment with a special understanding of the needs of female fighters.

Ladies who are looking for fight conditioning as a way of keeping up their fitness levels can join our classes Monday through Thursday. The Fitness classes are designed to train women in kickboxing techniques. Students are coached on keeping up endurance while maintaining proper technique during the entire class.

Ladies who are looking to advance their techniques or need fight training can join the Fitness classes as well as our specialized classes for grappling and fight training. The schedule for Women’s MMA is as follows:

  • BOXING FITNESS: Mondays 6:00-7:00 pm
  • MMA and KICKBOXING FITNESS: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 6:00-7:00 pm, also Tuesdays 7:00-8:00 pm
  • GRAPPLING TECHNIQUES: Thursdays 7:00-8:00 pm
  • FIGHT TRAINING: Mondays and Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:00 pm
  • OTHER CLASSES: Ladies enrolled in the WOMEN MMA program are also welcomed to join Open Mat, General Sparring, all MMA Conditioning Classes (see full schedule).

All classes in the Women MMA program are open to all levels, and are taught by Van Do, a former professional female MMA fighter with 8 years of fight training from California. Van is also the head coach for the Women’s fight team at Auckland MMA (Team WAMMA BAMMA).
