Description of Classes

Men’s MMA Class
The Men’s MMA classes are split into 4 levels. The Fundamentals class is designed to teach the absolute beginner the basic techniques of MMA. The General class is designed for everyone. It will teach you techniques of MMA Standup, Wrestling, and Grappling. This class teaches basic techniques for standup fighting, wrestling, and grappling. The Intermediate classes are designed for those who are proficient with techniques taught in the Beginner’s classes. The Fighter’s classes are designed for those whose fitness levels and techniques are advanced enough to compete in the ring or cage. Read More…

Women’s MMA (Women only)
The Women’s MMA classes is for women and young ladies to get training in stand up and ground techniques in a non-threatening environment. Taught by a professional female MMA fighter, these classes is perfect for women who find the Men’s MMA class too intimidating. Students are taught basics and extra care is given to ensure learning at a comfortable pace. The goal is to take aggression away from the learning process so that you can learn proper technique while getting fit. Additional training is available for those who want to compete. Read More…

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes teach foundation techniques in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Students learn positioning, sweeps, and submissions. The main focus of this syllabus is on technique and basic movements. Students can gain enough knowledge and training to begin competing at BJJ and grappling tournaments. All students are required to train in a gi uniform that is designed for BJJ or Judo. Training is for ages 10 years and up. Read More…

MMA Conditioning (aka Fitness)
MMA Conditioning classes are designed to elevate the fitness level using basic MMA techniques. Most of the drills incorporates kicks, punches, and knees. The focus is on keeping up the cardio work during the entire workout. This class is also open to casual attendance for $10 per class. Noon classes are also available. Kids MMA
Kids MMA is designed to give kids ages 5-15 years the discipline of martial arts while increasing their skills in mixed martial arts fighting. Kids will learn principles of punching, kicking, takedowns, and ground control. The emphasis of classes is to give kids a solid foundation in the fighting arts so that they can apply these principles to any combat sport they choose in the future. T-shirt and comfortable shorts (preferably board shorts) required. Grading curriculum available. Read More….
